Human Transformation
An independent inquiry into how people learn, act, coordinate, and change
I do not begin with the assumption that I already know how a person becomes permanently transformed. This section records the questions, sources, field projects, programs, observations, and revisions through which I am trying to understand the problem more carefully.
The inquiry includes learning and memory, language, identity, worldview, context, performance, leadership, group coordination, and quality of life. Some material comes from cognitive and learning science, philosophy, and organizational research. Other material comes from building companies, facilitating groups, coaching, working with children, and developing software such as Vocora.
Boundaries
This is independent inquiry and practice-based documentation. It is not presented as an academic affiliation, clinical program, or complete scientific theory of human transformation.
A field observation, participant account, conceptual model, and controlled result are different kinds of evidence. Pages in this section should make those differences visible rather than blending them together.
How the Work Is Organized
- Research Agenda records the active questions and their status.
- Field Projects document settings in which learning and coordination are observed over time.
- Practice & Programs preserve the history, questions, and limitations of facilitated programs.
- Leadership contains the existing leadership, coaching, course, research, and source archive.
- Source Library maps concepts and source lineages without presenting them as my conclusions.
- Publications & Notes is a curated index of canonical writing across the site.
- Research Log records changes in questions, methods, interpretations, and evidence standards.
Working Standard
The aim is not to make every page sound final. The aim is to ask clearer questions, document what actually happened, seek relevant evidence, identify alternative explanations, protect the people involved, and revise conclusions when the work changes.
